The Jaguars are the second NFL team to play "home" games in a foreign country. The first is the Buffalo Bills, who have been playing at least one game in Toronto, Canada since 2008. And for those of you who are wondering, yes Canada IS a foreign country.
This has me thinking, what other NFL teams should play "home" games in other stadiums? I mean, if the Green Bay Packers used to play occasional home games in Milwaukee, why can't these teams play games in these cities?
Cleveland Browns in Columbus. They could play one of their two annual "Battle of Ohio" games against Cincinnati at the home of the best football team in the state, THE Ohio State University.
New York Giants in Tokyo, Japan. In movies, Tokyo was invaded by Godzilla. It seems appropriate that the Giants do the same.
Minnesota Vikings in Oslo, Norway. Bringing the NFL to the vikings' homeland is a marketer's dream.
New Orleans Saints in Rome, Italy. Perhaps a little divine intervention could help them return to glory.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Jamaica. They could rename the place Revis Island for that game.
Miami Dolphins in Havana, Cuba. Call it a goodwill gesture.
And finally...
Green Bay Packers in Anchorage, Alaska. You want real frozen tundra? This is where you gotta go.
