Best of 7 is now best of 3

This was the effort Chicago Blackhawks fans had been waiting for in the Stanley Cup Finals.

Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane each scored goals, and Brent Seabrook notched his second overtime winner of the series as the Blackhawks edged the Boston Bruins 6-5 in Wednesday's Game 4. Toews also had a hand in Seabrook's winner, as he screened Boston's Tuukka Rask while the shot was heading in.

Another positive sign was Chicago scored a power play goal for the first time since Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals series against Los Angeles. Patrick Sharp bounced one past Rask midway through the third period to end an 0-for-29 power play drought.

It wasn't the prettiest of wins for Chicago, though. The Blackhawks blew leads of 4-2 and 5-4 before prevailing in this one. Corey Crawford was a bit shaky, as he stopped 28 of the 33 shots he faced for one of his lowest save percentages of the postseason (.848). At least this time, he got the offensive support he needed.

For the Bruins, Patrice Bergeron continued to be a goal-scoring machine as he notched two more markers to bring his series total to four. But for once, Boston's defense couldn't bottle up Chicago's shooters as Rask faced 47 shots between regulation and overtime. In the two previous games, Rask stopped 61 of the 62 shots on goal, so to see him allow six goals in one game is a bit jarring.

The two teams fly back to Chicago for Saturday's Game 5 of what has now become a best-of-three series for the Stanley Cup. If the first four games are any indication, we are in for another classic.
