Happy Father's Day
Just wanted to take a moment to celebrate all the fathers out there on this Father's Day including my dad, who is still going strong at age 86. One of the things he's taken up since retiring from working at the State of New York's Department of Education is art. This painting he did several years ago is a section of "Alligator Alley" in Florida that he created from memory.
My dad may not be the sports nut I am, but I hope I can still be as sharp-minded and creative as he is, should I be so lucky as to live well into my 80s.
