Well it should be titanic on paper, anyway. Two teams with multiple superstars battling each other for the NBA title, neither of which wants to walk away empty handed.
Unfortunately, most of the games have been one-sided affairs. We did get a classic in Game 6 when Miami rallied from a five-point deficit in the final minute of regulation to beat San Antonio 103-100 and keep the series going, but that was the exception to the rest of these NBA Finals.
So, who will win tonight? If we go by the pattern we've seen in the first six games, it appears as if San Antonio would have the upper hand. The winning team in each game has lost the next one. But if we go by history (no team has won a Game 7 on the road since 1978), then it would appear that Miami has the inside track.
I'm going to predict Miami wins Game 7 because history has to prevail at some point in this series. Right?
