Saturday morning animated sports

Growing up in the 1970s and 1980s, I had the pleasure of waking up on Saturday mornings and watching cartoons on TV until noon. Most of them involved rabbits outwitting befuddled hunters ...

Or the never-ending battle between mice, cats and dogs ...

But once in a blue moon, some TV executive came up with the idea of having a cartoon starring athletes. For example, the Harlem Globetrotters had their own series ...

And somebody decided to get Michael Jordan, Wayne Gretzky and Bo Jackson together for a cartoon series ...

And for fake cartoon athletic competition, we have the "Laff-a-Lympics."

Not to mention, the non-NASCAR-sanctioned "Wacky Races."

So, what are your Saturday morning cartoon memories?
