So far, we've had four extremely close games -- three of which needed overtime to determine a winner. Brent Seabrook has scored two overtime winners for Chicago, while Daniel Paille gave Boston a lift with his Game 2 OT goal.
The games have also been vastly different affairs. Chicago's offense turned in stellar efforts in its two wins, while Boston turned up the defensive pressure to win Games 2 and 3 by a combined score of 4-1.
Face-offs have been a huge factor in the series thus far. When Boston has held a significant advantage in face-off wins (six or more), the Bruins are 2-0. When Chicago has virtually matched Boston face-off for face-off, the Blackhawks are 2-0.
The question going forward is will the momentum Chicago gained by beating Boston 6-5 in Wednesday's Game 4 carry over -- especially with the top line featuring Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. Toews scored only his second goal of the postseason in that contest and provided the screen for Seabrook's overtime winner, while Kane registered a goal and an assist. Boston had done a great job of bottling up Toews and Kane through the first three games, so we'll see if the Bruins can do it again or if Chicago has finally solved that problem.
Tonight should provide us with another great game in what has already been a great Stanley Cup Finals. So let's watch this unfold together, shall we? See you on Twitter.
